Joel here, the creative behind State Goods. The artwork reflects my personal perspectives on time, place and the inner worlds we hold. Each print is a passage between history and nature, piecing together collages that evoke nostalgia, perseverance, and the nuances of life in-between the lines. State Goods is an response to a challenge: to find beauty in the banal.

In addition to State Goods, I am the founder of Sovereign State, a creative agency dedicated to crafting distinctive brand identities in Toronto Canada. This dual role allows me to infuse my work with a unique perspective, blending artistic insight with contemporary culture. Through State Goods and Sovereign State, I strive to create visuals that resonate on a inner level while sparking meaningful conversations in a blurry world.

Thank you for sharing the vision.

Why State Goods?

State Goods are goods for your state of being. When I started creating these prints, they were a way to abstract that the way I remembered moments and memories, as well as a being a reminder of how I want to be in the everyday.

Life is chaos and we do our best to navigate what we're supposed to do, and how we want to be. In our places of contemplation we seek to sit stillness and inspiration. A space to breath and take in a moment.

Each piece I create is an homage and a reminder. A lighthouse to keep you on your journey.

Working together

I welcome collaborations and unique projects, having partnered with architects, interior designers, and brands to create custom pieces for notable spaces and milestones. If you’re interested in exploring ideas together, I’d love to connect and create something truly exceptional.
